Meet my girl, Emily. She’s another one of my friends and a constant fashion inspiration in my life.

About: Emily lives in Seattle and works as an Account Manager for Amazon Local. We also used to be co-workers, but became really close when she moved into my apartment complex. We ended up living on the same floor and it was like we were back in college, hanging out in each other’s rooms constantly. She’s hilarious and impulsive. And that’s why I love her! She can always make me laugh and brighten up my day. Plus, she is BEAUTIFUL, with striking dark features.

What I Love About Her Style: Emily always has really unique items! A lot of the things she buys are at boutiques, trade shows, or markets and are often bought from the people that made them. You definitely have less of a chance seeing someone walk around with the same items on. She loves supporting local businesses and enjoys having that personal touch on the things she wears. This girl can be found going to work, loading a u-haul, or going to the dog park most definitely in heels. She’s also almost always perfectly color coordinated.

Her Celebrity Doppelgangers (according to me):

Mila Kunis and Larisa Oleynik (don’t act like you don’t remember The Secret World of Alex Mack)

Questions Answered By Emily-

K: What are three words you would use to describe your style?

E: Unique, Boutique, Chic

K: What is your favorite color to wear?

E: Mint or coral (better if together)

K: Do you have any current obsessions when it comes to fashion/beauty? (Products or items that you love/want/need)

E: Michael Kors purses (Especially with Rose Gold Clasps), lip plumpers, long loose shirts, and the tribal/aztec look.

K: You have $100 and can only spend it at one place. Where do you spend it?

E: Francescas, Sephora, or Amazon

K: Which celebrity’s style or fashion sense do you admire most?

E: I admire Sienna Miller, she is so classically beautiful with a very retro look. I also love Natalie Portman’s style she can make anything simple look fabulous and elegant, she has that way about her. And of course Mila Kunis, because I love her. She can look comfortable or super elegant She has a very versatile look.

Men’s traditional view of sexiness isn’t sexy. It shouldn’t be so obvious: push-up bras and miniskirts? Sexiness, to me, is when people are comfortable with themselves.”
-Sienna Miller

K: How do you find out about the boutique/fashion events that you can go to? Do you have any favorites?

E: I check for local events or trade show that are coming to the area. I also go to weekly markets like the Fremont Sunday Market where many different merchants display their unique talents. Unique LA and Unique OC are some of my favorites where people are creating special things and displaying them. They are trying to get their company started and it’s just fun to meet new people and find great stuff you wouldn’t be able to find in a store and speak to the people who made it. I’ve bought clutches, reversible purses, beer scented candles made in beer glasses, pocket-watch necklaces, magic wallets, etc.

K: What are three random items found in your purse?

E: Pucker Punch Lip Gloss– I have most of them. My favorite one is Kitten. They are made out of all natural products, they are good for your lips, and buying them goes to a good cause. The company gives 15% of their net proceeds to Operation Smile, a company who provides free surgeries around the globe for children and young adults born with cranio-facial deformities. Pucker Punch was founded by Cheryl Rouch, who has grew up with and had many surgeries on her smile due to being born with cranio-facial deformities.

My british passport, so I can be ready to travel at any time. Also, if you are on a night out and want to be someone else for the night, you can pull out an accent and no one questions it.

Mini perfume. You never know when you’re going  to need to spruce up. Kelsey got me hooked on the Michael Kors one!

K: Any fun fact about you?

E: This is hard. I work for Amazon and am addicted to my job. I am the #24 Model Solver on the website The Hunt. I have been to 18 different countries. I also have the cutest dog in the world, Henri the Klee Kai (pictured below).

K: Favorite pastime?

E: Game nights: playing cards or board games with family or friends. I also love dancing and being part of a dance team. AND playing pranks. That’s always fun.

K: Favorite TV show?

E: Parks and Rec (I LOVE Adam Scott), Modern Family, Big Brother, Amazing Race, and Vanderpump Rules (but I think this may have been their last season). :(
