Happy Saturday everyone! I thought I would do something a little different and do a weekend post! I wasn’t able to do any posts this week because I was violently (I mean VIOLENTLY) sick. I’ll try and not get to graphic here, but I have to tell you I’ve never puked so much in my entire life. I’m still kind of recovering from it and have no idea if it was food poisoning or a passing flu, but it was literally like that infamous scene from Bridesmaids in the dress shop.
On a better note, my obliques are thanking me and I’m toned as ever!
These pictures are from good old Tacoma, WA (about 10 minutes from where I grew up). Here is a fun fact about Tacoma: In 2011, Yelp.com rated Tacoma as their ‘Most Romantic City’. Somehow between the horrific odor from the paper manufacturing business and the abundant amount of meth houses being found in the city, I don’t necessarily agree with it being the ‘Most Romantic City’. Another fun fact: In 2013, The Advocate named Tacoma the ‘#1 Gayest City in America’. That I can see. I was however surprised it wasn’t Seattle (though I haven’t thoroughly studied the criteria as to how the ‘Gayest City” is chosen).
Anyway, these pictures are along the outside of Tacoma’s Museum of Glass. I actually regret to say that I have never been inside. It is supposed to be amazing and features works from Dale Chihuly, who was born in Tacoma. He is also known for being the artist famous for the works on the ceiling of the Bellagio in Las Vegas. Congratulations to twitter user @its_me_kaitlyn on winning last week’s contest for a Diamond Candle! I really really appreciate everyone who entered. I hope everyone has a great weekend, and if it was in fact some sort of flu I ended up getting, I pray that you don’t get it as well! Thanks for reading!
