PARISIAN FASHION
PARISIAN FASHION
I bought this skirt about four years ago when I was in Europe for the first time. One my destinations was Paris, and I’m definitely a sucker for themed outfits. I totally wanted to fit in and make the impression that I could be French, or at least have some other crazy/exotic background. I wore the skirt all over the city while riding the bikes that we rented. Unfortunately though, I was fooling nobody. While we were walking along near the Arc Di Triomphe, a girl around my age stopped me and asked me in perfect English if I could take her picture. It turns out she was from Canada, but I still don’t know how the little detective knew that I would understand her. I’m positive my boyfriend and I were not speaking loud enough where she would have heard me. Something about me must scream ‘native english speaker’, but I still haven’t figured out what it is. I was so disappointed in myself! Anyways, I hung onto this skirt and love pulling it out whenever I’m feeling super girly. I love how poofy it is!

Side Note: Whenever we are in Europe, my boyfriend and I play ‘spot the American’ (he is Irish by the way). It is something he is remarkably good at. Certain things that always give it away: tennis shoes with jeans, wearing anything by The Northface, and a happy go-lucky smiley attitude! At least it’s not sandals with socks, right?
